Course Description:
Built with help from the Sea Bees, this challenging run winds through sand dunes and a variety of coastal terrains with obstacles such as a low crawl, a 5 foot wall and a series of beach barricades and mud pits before coming into the homestretch. See if you are fit enough and have the mental and physical perseverance to finish this challenging course in the environment where America's finest train every day.
Aid Stations:
Paramedics will be on hand for the race. Volunteers will be on radio to call for help throughout the course.
Awards:
Awards given to the top three individual males and females in their age groups as well as top teams.
Prizes:
This year teams have the option of raising funds for the ASY on race it. Our top fund raising team will win a team party.
A separate winner's circle party will be held for the top racers. Door prizes & a chance to give feedback on this year's race!
Spectators:
Note: You must be on the base entry list to enter Little Creek Base or ride in with your runner if you do not have a military ID.
Spectators are free and can walk the length of the course to cheer their runner on.
Parking:
Parking is free.
Post Party:
Post party includes food and entertainment.
Other:
All proceeds from the race benefit the Armed Services YMCA which provides enrichment programs for junior enlisted military families of Hampton Roads.

Team:
We do have a team race category. Teams of five (5) are welcome to compete and we encourage dressing like a team. Show your team spirit!
