Course Description:
Natural off road course with a combination of man made and natural obstacles. Everyone from the trained athlete to the couch potato will be able to do this race. This is a one of a kind race, not a cookie cutter national event held at the same place with the same obstacles with just a different name. There will be no fire or electricity on the course. Some of the obstacles will require good upper body strength but there will be time delay detours if an obstacle is too scary. Teams of 5 or more are highly encouraged but not a requirement. This is a fun yet challenging course with 30 foot climbing wall of tires coming out of a quarry and lots of natural mud.
Aid Stations:
2 aid stations on the course paramedics will be on standby plenty of water, sport drinks and burgers and sandwiches at the finish
Awards:
We will post the race times by 5 year groupings at the post race party and on our website for bragging rights and the winning team of 5 or more with the best time will be added to the trophy
Prizes:
Costumes encouraged for bragging rights
Spectators:
Spectators are free and there will be several awesome viewing areas. We will transport participants on trailers with hay bales or they can walk the half mile to the viewing areas. Spectators are allowed at the post race party for free, the more the merrier.
Parking:
The lot is right next to the course and the cost is $10 cash per car
Post Party:
The participants and spectators are the stars of the post race party. Costume contests throughout the day will occur and we have really awesome free food for all participants, not just snacks but burgers and chicken sandwiches made fresh on site, YUM! Music and a variety of vendors will participate.
Other:
We have participated in many mud runs ourselves and we know what we like and don't like. There will be no waiting to get over obstacles and the food will be hardy and delicious. The property itself is beautiful and unique. We have and will make a sizeable donation to Hill Country Daily Bread-food bank services 3 counties in the Texas hill country.
This is a local event, local race directors, local vendors, local charity
Really nice free showers that should have minimal wait time if any at all
Team:
Teams of 5 or more will be timed as individuals and also as a team for bragging rights. Contact us if you have larger teams for discounts
