Excellent race!!!
This was my first Thunderdash and they didn't fail to disappoint. It was in a rock quarry and they made good use of the terrain. The obstacles were original and complimented the terrain well. Best part was the showers. The shower hoses actually had pressure to get the mud off, and they provided a changing tent. The entire race was timed so the results changed with each wave. They had a good selection of local food, local craft beer, and local music. The festival area was very well organized and the medals were good quality.
I'd recommend this race to anyone in Texas. If you're down that way when they have one, give it a try. You won't be disappointed.
