Race Start Time:

9:00 am is the first heat. Heats will go off every 15 minutes with the last heat departing at 12:30 pm. There will be a maximum of about 10 teams per heat. Competitive heats will be 9:00 am - 10:00 am

Krell Adventure Games In developing the Krell Adventure Games, we aimed to create the next step in obstacle racing, and something that could appeal to everyone. As opposed to having a set course, teams can choose how much of the course they want to do, how fast they want to go and how hard they want to push themselves. Unlike some races, we will not put people through electric shocks, but we will challenge teams both physically and mentally. The team that wins may not necessarily be the fittest. The winners will possess a combination of fitness, problem solving ability and the ability to work together.

◦Teams of 2 enter the “Arena” with a map.
◦Each team chooses its own course and the obstacles to be tackled - some will be physical, some will be mental. ALL will be challenging.
◦Victory goes to the team that conquers the most obstacles in the shortest amount of time.
◦Maximum time in the Arena: 2 1/2 hours

◦After the event, all are welcome to join us for our after-race party

Our refund policy is as follows: 100% 60 days or longer prior to the event. 50% 30 – 60 days prior to the event. Non refundable within 30 days of the event. However, you may transfer 100% of your registration fee to a future event anytime.

Course Description:

As opposed to having a set course, you can choose how much of the course you want to do, how fast you want to go and how hard you want to push yourself (and your teammate).

Teams of 2 enter the “Arena” with a map and have 3 hours to complete as many of the obstacles and challenges as possible (we'll have approximately 20 obstacles at the event). Some will be physical, some will be mental. ALL will be challenging.

Aid Stations:

There will be 2 water stations on the course and will have FREE pizza and beverages at the finish line for all competitors.

Awards:

The awards ceremony will be held at 1:30 pm for all ""competitive"" heats. These are the heats that go off between 9:00 am - 10:00 am.

Spectators:

There is NO change for spectators and they are allowed anywhere on course.

Parking:

Parking is FREE

Post Party:

We will have music and FREE pizza and beverage for all competitors after the race

Other:

We will again donate a portion of each team’s registration fee for the 2015 Hudson Valley event to the Johnny Sileno Wishes for Wellness Foundation. This family lost their little boy to cancer and chose to honor his memory by helping other families in their fight. We are proud to be able to support such amazing causes.
Note that kids can race with a parent/guardian! This is a great way for the whole family to experience the event together.

Team:

Our events are geared for teams of two. If you have a group of teams that want to compete head-to-head, just email us upon registration and let us know!
