Course Description:
The Mud & Music Mayhem is a challenging, six mile obstacle course. This race is said to be one of the more challenging races around. You will truly feel like you have done something when you are finished. Here is a list of the 30+ obstacles:

Aid Stations:
Three aid stations on the course. Paramedics will be on site. Fruit, water and beer await the finishers at the finish line.
Awards:
Participants can qualify for age group related prizes. Last year our prizes were customized flip flops. This year's prize is still to be determined.
Prizes:
We offer awards for the best team costumes.
Spectators:
There is no fee for spectators, but they are limited to certain areas of the course. Specatators are also welcomed to come to the after party.
Parking:
Parking is $5.00 and 100% of the parking fee goes to our charity, the United Way of Rockingham County.
Post Party:
Mud & Music is all about 'mud' AND 'music'. We will be rockin' out with live musicians after the race.
There will be food, beverage and various merchandise vendors.
Other:
The United Way of Rockingham County will be receiving proceeds from the race. The United Way of Rockingham County serves over 35 non-profit organizations and charities in Rockingham County. Rockingham County has been one of the hardest hit with unemployment in the state of North Carolina. They need our help!!!
The minimum age is 14.
We are only offering packet pick up on race day. We recommend you arrive one and one-half hour BEFORE your wave time so that you may get your race materials and get warmed up.
We will have at least two inflatables for kids to jump around in and feel like they are a part of the action. There is no charge.
Bring your ID and your signed waiver. It is also recommended to bring a change of clothes and shoes and a plastic bag to put your dirties in. You might also want to bring some cash to partake in the post-race festivities.
We will offer a bag/key check-in. You will need your race number to check in and check out a bag. Bring your own bag. We cannot be held responsible for any lost or stolen items, so leave valuables in your car or at home.
Set Up Events will be timing all participants. If you are in it to win it, we recommend you start in an early wave.
This is a MUD run!!!! The rain will only make it better. If it is thundering or lightening, we will wait for the storm to pass before releasing the waves.

We offer a 10% discount for groups of five or more and a 20% discount for groups of 10 or more.
