How about a day filled with amazing obstacles, live bands and plenty of Miller beer?
The 2nd Annual Mud & Music Mayhem Obstacle Race will take place on Saturday, August 16th,2014 from the picturesque Willow Oaks Plantation in Eden, NC. The course is a 6+ mile event and will feature over 30 man-made and natural obstacles. This is one of THE most challenging courses around.
Participants will climb walls, crawl through tunnels, trudge through mud, jump over fire and many more challenges. Do it to win! Do it for fun! Do it by yourself! Do it with friends! Do it as a 3-person relay! Just do it!!!! After you race, you will earn a finishers medal and enjoy a free beer courtesy of Miller. The party continues with live entertainment, inflatables for the kids, more Miller beer for the adults and great food for everyone. There is no charge for spectators so bring your friends and family.

This was great, there were a variety of different types of obstacles, more than just climbing over things. Wish they would do it again. Definitely do it as a team. Fun run for people of all levels of
strength.
Failure to Launch
I have searched for multiple time on this site for any type of information to register for this race....no luck. As mentioned by others the recommended site/link associate with www.mudrunguide.com is a failure. Anybody know of where to go to get this done?

the registration doesn't work and hasn't worked in 4 weeks. it just takes you to an advertisement site??
Showers and skipped obstacles
Great run and obstacles. Two things kept it from being a 5 STAR.....#1- Ran out of shower/wash water after race- very bad for a LOT of runners.....#2- most runners who were running for time did not go through the obstacles, noticed a picture of the winner coming across the finish line CLEAN???? how did that happen?
