Elite wave starts at 9:00am. Waves released every 30 minutes thereafter. Last wave goes out at 12:00pm. Youth Challenge City Race at 2pm

City Challenge Race transforms vibrant cities with breathtaking skylines into an exciting obstacle course with walls to get over, water jugs to carry, ropes to climb, cargo nets to climb, sand bags to carry, monkey bars and much more. This unique event is designed to get communities active, test your athleticism, fortitude, and get you out of your comfort zone. We inspire everyone to live a fit and healthy lifestyle. City Challenge Race also raises funds and awareness for local charities and breast cancer. While races like Spartan, Tough Mudder, and Warrior Dash have become extremely popular it occurred to us to have our challengers run through city streets while attempting to conquer challenging obstacles that do not include water, mud, electrocution, or barbed wire. We are the clean obstacle race. Besides who really wants to risk getting electrocuted, suffer cuts by barbed wire, or ruin a great pair of shoes in disgusting dirty mud? And unlike the other guys, we hate to see back-ups on our courses so we limit each wave of runners to 200 racers to avoid overcrowding. Our race will feature energetic, fun, intense, and clean obstacles! Join active residents of vibrant cities and run through city streets with amazing backdrops of the hosting city’s skyline! Course Description:

New York City Challenge Race returns to Icahn Stadium on Randall's Island for the third year with more urban obstacles and challenges in 2016!
Icahn Stadium at Randall's Island Park will be transformed into an urban obstacle course with over 20 urban obstacles and challenges over a 3-mile course; featuring real police and taxi cars for our challengers to jump over, cargo net, rope climb, walls, sand bags, and so much more!

Over 25 urban obstacles on our 3 mile course! The most obstacles per square mile of any other OCR!
- Police Cars to get over
- Cinder Block carry
- Rope Climb
- Walls to climb
- 30 foot cargo net
- Sand Bags to carry
...and so much more!

Aid Stations:

First aid stations and paramedics throughout the course.

Spectators:

Spectators are free! There are plenty of areas on the course where your friends and family can cheer you on and take great photos!

Parking:

Parking garages in the area. $5 per car.

Post Party:

Our post party includes music, giveaways, vendors, food and much more!

Other:

Bag Check will be available ($5 per bag).
