The competition invites people from all over the world to submit an idea for Tough Mudder's next new obstacle which could be made into a reality for 2018.
One of the most common environmental challenges in endurance OCRs, especially of the Tough Mudder variety, is cold stress. World’s Toughest Mudder is famous for being a race where a wetsuit is normally required for successful completion of 24 hours on the course. CBS and Tough Mudder introduce the latest addition to the Tough Mudder brand today with Tough Mudder X. Tough Mudder X is announced on the heels of Tough Mudder jumping into the gym arena. The 1-mile Tough Mudder X course builds on that momentum offering a 1-mile course that includes 10 obstacles and 10 "workout zones".

Toughest Mudder the 8-hour Tough Mudder event took place over the weekend outside of Philadelphia as the series made it's Northeast stop. The race began at midnight and after 8:00 am finishers began to cross the line. Many favorites from the World's Toughest Mudder community came out to the event in the hopes to gain contender status (25 miles) for World's Toughest Mudder.

Tough Mudder announced today the introduction of Tough Mudder Bootcamp. Tough Mudder Bootcamp which was teased a few months ago and again in Mud Run Guide's interview with Will Dean after Europe's Toughest Mudder is the newest offering for the brand. Over the years, it has become apparent that Tough Mudder is much more than just an event and the latest offering from the company builds on this.
Each time I stand at the entrance to race, I feed off the energy of everyone else to get me pumped to start off from the entrance with a burst of speed. I can’t help but enjoy the spirit of what these things are about to me, the spirit of pushing yourself to a new height and doing things you wouldn’t normally do.
