As part of the Comeback Kids winning team on the Spartan Ultimate Team Challenge show, Laura Messner showed the world who she is and how far she has come. She has faced times of self-doubt in her past, but has risen from the ashes to prove that you need to love yourself and be true to who you are. In this world, we have too much negativity and self-loathing and Laura strives every day to be the best person she can be, and through this inspires others.

It’s difficult to begin speaking about a product that has nothing like it on the market. I can’t say – “Hey everyone! Here’s a new version of ‘bleh’ that you can try out in its new and improved form!”. With that, I’m just going to jump into it and tell you all about my experience with Wear Bands. First off, I’ve had this for about 6 weeks now. I’ve put this through some strenuous testing in every possible way I could think of, and I’ve intentionally not been nice to the equipment.

When I moved to Colorado my friends introduced me to Spartan and Tough Mudder. I had never run anything like this before. I never had the desire, but I needed something in my life to motivate me to get out of bed and get to the gym and improve my health. I compete in OCR not only because it has turned into a passion, but it keeps me fit both mentally and physically.

Spartan Race World Championship Returns to Tahoe in 2017

Spartan Race World Championships will officially be returning to Lake Tahoe, California for another year. Mud Run Guide received word earlier today that the series world championship will be back in Squaw Valley, Lake Tahoe in 2017. 2017 will mark the third year Spartan Race has hosted their world championship at the former Olympic venue. In 2017, athletes will be competing for over $500,000 in cash and prizes.

First off, Spartan Race (SR) didn't have to do this. When Spartan canceled, correction, when Hurricane Matthew canceled the Spartan Race in Okeechobee, FL. No one would have blamed them for packing up their trucks and moving on to the next race. Instead, they chose to put on a special Hurricane Heat at Virginia Beach on Virginia Key in FL. So, having always wanted to do a Hurricane Heat (HH) and rather than driving three hours to Okeechobee, I could do one virtually in my backyard....sign me up!!
