Warrior Dash concluded its seventh season with more than 2.5 million Warriors since the event’s inception in 2009. Warrior Dash had over 30 international event locations this year, challenging athletes on the 5K obstacle courses across the United States, Denmark and Mexico.

Race Recap: The Battlegrounds October Race

In OCR, there is nothing like the fall race at The Battlegrounds. The reason for this is there is not another venue with a winery onsite! This puts a certain buzz in the atmosphere for the events especially since the winery caters the race with food, beer and wine. Also, prior to this event, they added about five obstacles plus a wreck bag series that was about 200 yards long.

Who is Spartan Race World Champion Zuzana Kocumova?

While it may have been a surprise to many in the United States when Zuzana Kocumova from the Czech Republic crossed the finish line first in the Spartan Race World Championships. For Europeans, her finish was less of a surprise. Kocumova recently won the Spartan Race European Championships a few weeks ago; we did a little digging to find out more about this 36-year-old.

Race Recap: Battlefrog Chicago

The first ever Chicago area Battlefrog was held on September 19th at the Grand Geneva Resort in Lake Geneva Wisconsin. The winter ski resort located about an hour’s drive from Chicago and Milwaukee provided excellent terrain for what is becoming known as one of the toughest OCR series around.
