Legionnaires are members of the Tough Mudder (TM) community that have completed more than one event. Although they do not have a separate name, there is a smaller subset of athletes that I call the Multi-Lap Legionnaires.

The Reebok Spartan Race returned to New England for the Sprint version of their famous racing series. For me personally, the buzz that usually surrounds a Spartan weekend just wasn’t there. A couple months earlier, they brought the first even Super to the area and held it at a brand new venue, a local dairy farm in Central Massachusetts.

Another busy weekend in the world of OCR. Many took to social media over the weekend proclaiming that one race was possibly the hardest regular season OCR ever. That race was BattleFrog at the Mud, Guts, and Glory course over the weekend. As well high praises graced the web after the Spartan Races in both Asheville and Boston.

The OCR industry has been tightening their belts in 2015. Across the industry companies are looking to operate both effectively and efficiently in order to stay in business for the long term. Most of the time this gives the participants the best event at the best cost to them. However, what is the downside when companies strive for growth and efficiency too quickly? What happens when companies mandate quicker build times for the guys on the ground?

Jesse "Every Day" Daily comes off a strong showing in Knockout Round #1, after being the final athlete in qualifying to make the cut. He's matched up in KO Round #2 against the brutally efficient Brakken Kraker, a Spartan Race Pro Team member who has absolutely bent this OCR Warrior course to his will with the record-shattering :58 qualifying time. Can Jesse outlast or outwit Brakken to get to the finals?

Bloodied and bruised, the Women's Final is down to Spartan Race course builder Leah Land and former BattleFrog race manager Jennifer Klentzman. While their hands are destroyed from multiple trips through the course in qualifying and Knockout Round #1, these ladies will give it their all for the right to be called OCR Warrior San Antonio Champion!

Insane Inflatable had a huge turnout and it was easy to tell many of them arrived early and hung out after and the festival area was good times the entire time I was on site. The MC did a good job of firing up both the racers and crowd the entire time, which helped make the festival area even more of a good time.
