Having an event located on/near a military base and naming it an "Honor Series" I expected a lot of patriotic fanfare and pride for our nation's military. However, at the end of the day, it just didn't measure up.
Phoenix Evolution and Run Far, Inc recently teamed up to bring awareness and raise money for the veteran charity. Run Far, Inc. strives to ensure those left behind are not forgotten. Run Far, Inc. has chosen to stand alongside our veterans by providing financial support and educational assistance to their children who are left behind.
OCR keeps me active and is a fun community to be a part of. It gives me something to push towards and keeps me reminded there is always room to grow. OCR forces you to be adaptable and constantly seek self-improvement. I think all of these things are important for a balanced life.
The Selection: Special Operations Experiment takes 30 men and women with no military background through the most intense physical and mental challenge of their lives, according to History. The volunteers are trained and led by veterans of the Navy SEALs, Green Berets and Army Rangers, who drive those who are willing to push themselves to the limits of the human body and mind. The eight-episode series will premiere at 10 PM Thursday, December 15.
