With 17 obstacles in the Warrior Dash arsenal, each 2019 course is uniquely comprised of new obstacles and variations on signature obstacles including Up Slide Down, Alcatraz, Get a Grip, and Kiss My Grass. New in 2019, Warrior Dash will feature the industry’s first zip-line obstacle, Super Fly, along with the 3-story El Capitan.

Warrior Dash, the 5K obstacle course race that more than 3 million people have completed since 2009, is commemorating the anniversary of its inception with the inaugural National Obstacle Course Racing Day on July 18. Year-in and year-out, Warrior Dash proves its worth as being one of the best mud runs for beginners, as I wrote in this article on that subject last year. One could argue their obstacles and event is somewhat formulaic, and that's exactly what I want! When I'm recommending a race for first-timers or fun-seekers - whether to millions of people* or a group of parents and teachers at my daughter's school, I want to know they are going to get a safe, fun, experience that I know each and every one of them can handle. Warrior Dash is excited to partner with the OCR World Championships for their international championship event taking place on October 14-16, 2016 at Blue Mountain Resort, in Ontario, Canada. Competitive Warriors can qualify by finishing in the top 10 for their gender in any Warrior Dash competitive wave. The top three male and top three female finishers will be recognized on stage at their respective Warrior Dash award ceremony.

It’s set up in an active rock quarry, meaning that every year’s course can be completely different from the year before.
