With a community like the one around Mud Run Guide, it is often hard to limit the community members of the week down to two individuals. Each week our social media guru Bonnie Wilson combs through those posted tagged with #mudrunguide. She picks two to highlight. This week we highlight two athletes who recently took on two different Spartan races.
Our community members are the backbone of Mud Run Guide. As American's celebrated the 4th of July obstacle racers around the world continue to show their moxie on the course week after week. This week's community members of the week square off at Rugged Maniac and Spartan.
From a group of co-workers at Rugged Maniac to a 73-year-old retiree training for her first Spartan, this week's Community Members of the Week are chasing goals and having fun.
As the fall chill is in the air, top athletes are in final prep for the championship season. Age group athletes are getting ready to try to capture their own titles at events like Spartan World Championships and OCR World Championships. Others in our community are just going out there testing themselves and taking on a local OCR. As the Mud Run Guide community continues to grow each week we highlight two members who stood out.
With Halloween over, the 2018 season slowly coming to a close, there is still a lot happening in the obstacle racing industry. While most of our feeds were full of Halloween costumes this week, others were showing off their achievements.
The 2018 obstacle course racing season is coming to a close with World's Toughest Mudder taking place over the weekend. Spartan has a few more championships (Kids, Para, and Ultra) remaining and awards season is just around the corner. With the season wrapping up Mud Run Guide community members are still out week after week taking on new challenges and races.
Mud Run Guide has a lot to be thankful for this year. We have been able to share information and news from around the world. We have a community that is the best in the business and some of the best writers than an editor could ask for.
