There is no way this was a 5K distance, I am guessing MAYBE 2.5. It was very unorganized in that there were no chips, bibs, etc. However, this was a very fun race. As long as your expectation is tempered for distance and from mainstream events such as Tough Mudder and the like (not Warrior Dash, that was the most disorganized event I have ever been too!), you will enjoy this. It was short but you were always doing something - either being chased by a pack of well-costumed zombies, climbing something, going through mud, tunnels, etc. It was actually relatively draining since there was never a point where you had a stretch of just running.
The price is pretty steep for such a short run so I am not sure about next year's event. I did this so my friend who wanted to do the Tough Mudder wouldn't have that be his first foray into obstacle course racing. I really enjoyed it but the price needs to come down to the $40 range for registration for me to do it again.
