Packet Pick Up is a JOKE
You really need to get a better system for packet pickup. Not letting your group captain pick up your registration packets and requiring ALL who participate to stand in the VERY long line to get their packet and making you wear a wrist band for 24 hours prior to the race is total CRAP. Now everyone in our group who still needs their packet will have to pay $5.00 to get them the day of the race??? RIP OFF!!!!! I hope the race is better organized than the packet pick up was.
Big Balls & Wrecking Balls; I conquered them all.
Even though the weather was uncooperative and it was a bit chilly, I had a great time. As a first time obstacle course participant, the number of obstacles and the difficulty level was just right. :) I thoroughly enjoyed it... a FUN run indeed!
I was most pleased to hear how much money was raised for the Charity that the WipeoutRun is supporting. Kudos to the event's charity crew for volunteering to make it a great day.
I ran in the 330 heat. The first obstacle was about a 15 minute wait. Even if you are a fast runner it would not have been possible to finish this race in under and hour. I was unable to finish because it took so long and I had to leave. The obstacles were fun and maybe if I was in one of the first heats it would have been a good time. There was also nothing but cornhole games at the end of the race. I did rugged maniac and there was a bounce house and jousting that the kids could play in and a mechanical bull. This race really had nothing at the end and my son hated being there. I thought it might be fun for him. You also couldn't see any of the race from the after party area. Rugged maniac you could watch a few of the obstacles at the end of the course. Rugged maniac is the only other run I've done like this and it was a great time. Wipeout was a waste of money. It took my friends about 2 hours to finish and tere were only 9 obstacles. It was not worth giving up my Saturday.
