I was sadly disappointed in this event. I have never been in an event that was so unorganized in my life. 1st we were suppose to receive our bibs in the mail, never happened also we were suppose to sign the waiver, however the link for the waiver was broken so no waivers were signed.

We arrived a little before 8:00, to obstacles still being worked on and no one ready to begin the sign in process. Once they were ready begin sign in the sheets were not in alphabetical order, numbers were still in the stacks wrapped in the plastic wrap. When asked why sheets were not in alpha order we were told they did not have enough time….What, I signed up in September. While searching and eventually finding my name, then they had to go over to the far end of the table to another stack of bibs to find my bib to which was “missing” so they then had to assign me with another number. Great!!!! We were given no instruction as to how this was going to happen so everyone just sort of wondered around until we finally heard this faint voice yell “Wave One” and found the voice and followed it to what appeared to be a start line. While waiting to start our instruction was “Follow the guy on the four wheeler” nothing more was said. We watched the second wave begin and the instructions they received we a little better if you could hear considering they had no sound systems set up. The people in the 3rd wave had no pins; they were running around to those that have finished the race to pin on their bibs.

The race, we had 6 obstacles, not 11 which were haphazardly put together. All obstacles were at the very end of the race, not spread out by any means.

Just a little advice for next year, it’s not that difficult, # of runners x 4 and a few hundred extra pins. Maybe an excel spreadsheet with runner names in alpha order and bags put together in alpha order to hand to participants upon arriving with instructions, or maybe like the corporate challenge you have all of this ready to be picked up at a local mall a couple days before (Dicks, Sports Authority) with detailed instructions and bags put together.

I feel the amount of money that we paid for this event was by far the worst organized event I have ever participated in.

Oh and let me add, I am still waiting on some sort of results…probably won’t happen as they “won’t have enough time”.
