The Holt Bolt is a 6-8km military inspired obstacle race on the Bald Hills flats. The course is run alongside the nationally recognised cross country course at St Paul's School. The coordinators of The Holt Bolt are Richard Holt and Brisbane Rugby league player Josh McGuire. There are 6 races per year and competitors are encouraged to compete against their personal bests as well as each other. At the end of each calendar year a winner of the series will be announced (based on points system).

Brilliant!
An excellent event for those entering the sport of obstacle racing for several reasons;
1.Convenient location for Brisbane residents
2.Course provided a broad range of obstacles
3.Reasonable cost
4.Friendly atmosphere, excellent for families (ran with my 19 year old son)
5.None of the excessive hype of the bigger more expensive obstacle races
Will be back next year!
