Blitz Events started The Blitz obstacle course race to provide kids a fun and challenging way to get fit. Not all kids will become varsity athletes at their schools, but everyone recognizes the need to move and exercise to stay healthy. The Blitz is for all kids between 9 and 17, and yes, the parents of participants may also run in the event. We have selected The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Western Reserve as our charity partner as we all strive to make a difference in providing youth development programs for at-risk kids in the greater Akron area. We want kids and their parents to make good choices about eating and exercising and adopting that as part of their daily lives.
