Great event and very well organized. Staff were brilliant. Everyone I talked to pretty much summed it up as "it's so awesome to finally get out and do an OCR event" Yes there were some tweaks that had to be made with the virus on a lot of people's minds but they did a great job with it. Nice work Savage!

Great staff, well organized, tough obstacles, perfect distance. Only a few of the great things about Savage Race. They take great care of their volunteers and the race itself is always a great competitive environment. One of if not the best OCR race series around.

Best OCR series out there!

I've run two Savages this year with another 3 on the books to go. This is, by far, one of the best OCR series out there.. Not only are the obstacles challenging, they are fun! Instead of hearing, "Oh shit, here's the stupid bucket again" you hear, "Awesome! Here's Sawtooth!" (Or Colossus or Twirly Bird or any of the others) The races are very organized and the staff is awesome. Even the Heads of the Organization are actively involved with the runners constantly getting their input to make things better. And, not to mention, the prices aren't outrageous either! You can't ask for a better time. #SAF

Savage Race could be the best run OCR organization. Great value, fantastic and innovative courses and challenges. Chicago was my 3rd full Savage and second Blitz of 2018. I can't wait for the next so I can add to my Syndicate collection.

Savage is such a GREAT race in every way. I can not say another good things about them. The race is tough but if you cant get through an obstacle there is always someone to lend a helping hand and a positive word. Such a welcoming group. The organization is the best in the business. Always so happy when a Savage race is coming up!!

Savage puts on an outstanding race series! The standard by which to compare all OCR! They blend challenge and fun so that all racers...first timers to elites...can enjoy it! The tagline of the perfect distance and best obstacles is spot on! Onl complaint is that there arent more offered. Keep up the great work Savage Team!!

Perfect run

I enjoy Savage Races because it is the perfect distance and challenges for me to achieve my goals. Savage is setting the bar with their customer service, other organizations are still in the mud. All volunteers are smiling & willing to help out. Only OCR that I have drove 10.5 hours one way to race & drove home on the same day after running 7.5 miles. Once you go Savage, you never go back to another ocr.

Challengely fun and addictive

By far the best obstacles in any OCR. For reference I've done; Spartan, Terrain Race, Bone Frog, Rugged Maniac, and Battle Frog. Great courses, excellent layouts and amazing staff. Anytime a mistake is made they will instantly own and rectify it. Highly recommended, best bang for your buck in OCR.

This was my first time running this location. Great race as always and the level of kindness from everyone from the owners, volunteers and even other runner's is awesome. That is the main reason I have run 15 races so far and will continue to do so.
