This mud run offers 2 running distances with a 5k and 10k course. 18 unique, fun and challenging obstacles are laid out on this course and consist of multiple terrain surfaces, elevation changes, man-made and natural obstacles including parts of the Russian River. Gorgeous views of the Russian River valley and surrounding vineyards are just a few of the many perks offered at the Russian River Mud Run. Each participant also receives a custom long-sleeve T, race dog tags and pancakes for participating in the race!

I ran this event with a friend from University of Sports in Rohnert Park. This was the first sort of event that either of us had run and we had an absolute blast! We ran the 5K but after we finished with both felt we had missed out on the rest of the fun. We should have run the 10K for the full experience. The obstacles were good, the weather was perfect, the event was very well organized and the cost was reasonable. I will definitely participate next year.
