Was impressed for being a first time event. 4 miles with roughly 24 obstacle means not much distance running. The cargo net had an insane wait but was worth it. Can't wait to to do it again in a couple weeks. I look forward seeing the improvements this year.
Running in the Maryland race again! We had a blast last year! Lots of mud and different obstacles. The farm was beautiful and the after party was fun as well. Great event!
The obstacles that they had were great. Started in 10am wave and had about a 20 min wait at cargo net, but no waits anywhere else. They did have the advertised number of obstacles but many of the unique ones listed their website were not there. We did not see Hanging Tough, The Gauntlet, Arachnaphobia, Dead Man's Crawl, Firing Squad, Pile Drivers, Dirty Slip N Drip, Backbreaker, Ankle Breaker, Hazed and Dazed, and the Hell Mile was missing Wet and Sandy, Rope Swing, Cold and Miserable. The person working the No Man Left Behind didn't tell anyone when or how far to carry someone, he just allowed us to run straight through. It was a good time but it could have been so much better with more variety in the obstacles.
