Run The Ridge obstacle races, mud run, and OCR information, distance, cost, dates, calendar, discounts, obstacles, reviews, and more
Maple Ski Ridge, 2725 Mariaville Road, Schenectady, NY, will once again be holding “Run the Ridge” to raise funds for the Albany Vet Center on July 27th, 2013. We will be starting the day at 8:45 with a Fast & Furious Run, with additional runs at 9:30, 10:15 and 11:00 an A 2K Family Run at 1:00pm. The 1st 100 people to register online will receive a FREE Run the Ridge T-Shirt.
The 5K race will feature challenging obstacles including water, crawling, climbing and of course mud! The course will be designed by Military personnel & participants should arrive prepared to face a challenge.
The 2K Family Races will feature physical challenges as well, but it will be toned down for younger athletes. There will be a kid’s zone so that kids and families can also enjoy the after party.

Tons of Obstacles!
This is a great run, very challenging with hills to run up and down and up again. I counted over 32 obstacles. Also, very family friend. They have a wash off area, key check - which is wonderful not having to worry about losing the car keys, free parking and spectator areas. Would highly recommend!
