Muddy Mates is one of the most accessible mud runs in the Netherlands. All you need is: a team of friends, a sporting attitude, a creative outfit (party dress is optional) and a pair of very old shoes. The adventurous Muddy Mates challenge invites to participate in 5km mud run through a specially designed 12 obstacles course.



The purpose of Muddy Mates is to promote a fun, healthy and active lifestyle. Therefore, it is not important to achieve the fastest time, but to have lots of muddy fun



Jeff Povlo, founder of Muddy Mates, is of American origin and now lives in Amsterdam: ‘We especially want to create a good outdoor festival atmosphere. Therefore, in addition to a lot of mud there will also be good food, beer and music. In order to participate, you do not need to be a seasoned athlete, you just need a good sense of humor and adventure, and of course should be ready for the most muddy experience of your life!'



Muddy Mates is suitable for both men and women of all ages. There's even a child-friendly 500m Mini Muddy trail for ages 4-11 (accompanied by a parent) with mini obstacles so the kids can slide through the mud and have fun.



The festival goes on all day with live music and good food while people pass through the Muddy Mates the trail.
