Conquer your fear of muck, madness and mayhem and embrace your love of friends, fitness and fun. Crush your inner wimp as you crank your adrenaline to push yourself and your fellow Heroes to the finish (without spilling over laughing). Then celebrate your achievement with other mud-lovers and spectators at the post-race Mud Bash featuring a BBQ, bevies, live music and more. If you’re mad about mud, this is your run.

GREAT EVENT!
Great Event! I have done the run for 2 years and I am expecting to do the run again for a 3rd year. So much fun and the obstacles are great and challenging, the good kind.

It was a blast! super challenging but also really fun which allowed me to push through. totally recommend the ultra. so many obstacles and so much mud (which is the best part). I loved it and signed up for text year already!

True Test if Your Willpower
About 3/4 of the run I felt my body physically give up and it was only because of my mental fortitude that I was able to complete the run. It was a great experience and definitely left me sore for a week.

Mud Hero 2018, incredible experience!!
Made a road trip from Saskatchewan with my best friend to do this race, and was it ever worth it! It started with an “it’s freezing cold...we’re unprepared...how are we going to survive this?!”, but quickly escalated into excitement, laughs, and two muddy gals having the time of their lives. The environment is incredible, so uplifting and motivating, I don’t think it’s possibke to not have fun! The pump up guy revs you up with his huge amounts of energy and chants, and everyone around you is having fun and cheering each other on the whole way through, It’s impossible not to smile even when you’re hoisting yourself through mud!! We both really enjoy pushing our own limits, and the mud hero was the perfect thing for us. It’s something different and exciting that you honestly can’t fully train for, but that’s all part of the fun of it! Crossing the finish line, we knew we would do it again in a heart beat, and the Mud Hero 2018 was definitely the highlight of our summer!

I love Mud Hero! My whole family does it every year and each year I get a new friend to try it out. It's well organized and affordable!!
