Conquer your fear of muck, madness and mayhem and embrace your love of friends, fitness and fun. Crush your inner wimp as you crank your adrenaline to push yourself and your fellow Heroes to the finish (without spilling over laughing). Then celebrate your achievement with other mud-lovers and spectators at the post-race Mud Bash featuring a BBQ, bevies, live music and more. If you’re mad about mud, this is your run.

Great Run
Was an amazing run did it 2016 and 2017. Signed up for 2018 but found out i was pregnant Will run again this year with my post baby goals!
Great fun in Debert
Went with a team from our gym. Had a blast. Lots of mud, obstacles were fun and challenging, will definitely do it again.
Well organised race. Not too many lines, either at registration or on the course. Would like a few more obstacle demanding grip strenght.

A great time with friends! The only complaint was the time of year. Sept can be beautiful in NS but it was a bit chilly. Looking forward to doing it again in July!!
Mud Hero 2018
We attended our first Mud Hero in Red Deer, AB. Loved it so much we also participated in Nova Scotia. It's a great event for everyone, no matter what your fitness level.
The obstacles are new and challenging everytime! Looking forward to taking part in a new place for 2019!

Best Spa Day Ever
This was the first fun that my husband and I participated in and had a blast from start to finish. The atmosphere was amazing, the weather was perfect, the music and entertainment was incredibly uplifting. We loved all the costumes and the morale of all of the participants, the beer garden, the pictures, the medals, the obstacles and most of all, the MUD!!
I had an amazing time running the course in 2016. Mud hero is a fun, challenging experience for anyone who wants to push themselves, and have a fun time doing it! C'mon, what other excuse do you have to get mucky and not feel guilty about it!
Mud Hero - Halifax 2018
I've always wanted to give Mud Hero a try but didn't want to participate on my own. My niece and I decided that 2018 was the year we were going to do it and I am so glad we did. There were so many people there that I felt a bit overwhelmed but the event was well organized.Staff to help and some even gave you a hint as to how to get through the obstacle if you were having trouble. Even other participants gave a hand when they could. It was challenging but fun. I am not a big fan of mud but I would do Mud Hero again.
