Join the Battle! The Highlander Assault Obstacle Series is a Highlander themed grueling but fun event. Featuring a 4 mile 20 obstacle option, an 8 mile 27 obstacle option, or if you are thirsty for more do both courses for a total of 12 miles and 47 obstacles to become a member of the Highlander Elite Black Watch. Black Watch 12 mile racers will receive a bonus Black Watch medallion!
The Highlander Assault event will also feature the Highlander Village where you can hang out before and after the race enjoying D.J. music services, contests, several gourmet food vendors, beer, and sponsor give aways. Don't forget to take your picture with one of several Highlander Warriors in full garb walking the grounds.. Come join the battle and defeat the oppresive King's army, conquering the King's obstacle onslaught and raising the Highlander Flag to glory! Oh and if you are up for the challenge, don't forget your kilts!

Highlander Assault kills it!
I think I've done 4-5 Highlander races now and each time it's been a great race in a fantastic atmosphere! Excellent challenging obstacles through an amazing terrain. Those producing the race and those participating make it a thoroughly enjoyable event every time!
HIGHLANDER ASSULT
This by far one of my faves that my girlfriend and I take the 8 or so hour drive from KC to attend it. We speak so highly of it that we hope that more of our KCOCR friends will be jointing us next year! So if you haven’t been to one. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!

This was my 6th event with Highlander Assault. Every event is better then the last. The organization is always improving, the staff is always happy and having fun. Have never ran into a less then friendly participant. Obstacles are well built, course always evolving and fun. I cannot wait to conquer the gauntlet next year.
I can’t say enough great things about Highlander Assault. It’s obvious how much everyone involved with Highlander Assault takes pride in continuously putting on great events. From challenging terrain, to new obstacles, to the entertainment and festival area, I look forward to each and every Highlander event. If you haven’t raced them, you’re definitely missing out.
Great race
One of the best races around. I've done 3 Highlander and 2 Highlander dark age. The people are awesome the obstacles are hard but doable for everybody. i bring a group with me from the gym ranging age 14 to 60 years old.
Awesome OCR
Great variety of obstacles and distances to challenge you. They also have a night time ocr event which was my first. Both events were an amazing time and definitely recommend to friends

1st time in 2018, sign up right after for 2019. A good time with some fun obstacles.
