Face Your Fears obstacle races, mud run, and OCR information, distance, cost, dates, calendar, discounts, obstacles, reviews, and more

The Face Your Fears Foundation, founded by Thomas Viljac in Bluffton, SC, will host the Face Your Fears Mud Run. The courses are situated alongside the May River in Bluffton, SC. The event is military focused and benefits four Special Operation Force organizations – the Brothers in Arms Foundation, the US Navy SEALS Foundation, the Lone Survivor Foundation, and the MARSOC Foundation.



There are three courses from which to choose. The Valor course (10 miles, 25 Obstacles), the Courage course (3 miles, 16 Obstacles), and the Seal Pups course for the younger children (.25 miles). Courses are designed to push participants to their mental and physical threshold. Our goal is to provide an experience that mimics the challenges our Special Operation Forces encounter on a daily basis to encourage an appreciation for their service to our country.



This is a challenge, not a race. Those who complete the challenge will receive a set of dog tags and are encouraged to attend the after party. For those who are of age, there will be a cold beer waiting for you at the after party. In addition, there will be a DJ, water and food to enjoy.



Our race gives you the opportunity to challenge yourself, give back to our Special Operation Troops, and enjoy the beautiful natural landscape and all the amenities that a resort area and historic town have to offer.
