I tried to register for this event and was unsuccessful. When I tried to find out if the event in November was cancelled, I couldn't get anyone to answer my question. All the negative reviews other people wrote are spot on. There's no number to call and the one email address I found, no one ever responded after 3 attempts. I just gave up. Now that I've read all of these reviews, I'm glad I wasn't able to register or else I would've been regretting it. If anyone reads this, I definitely wouldn't sign up for this.
FRAUD
I signed up for this race thinking what a good cause it was for. They changed the date from September 24th to November 12th and did not bother to notify any of the registered participants. Multiple emails sent for a refund with no response. Facebook messages sent regarding the date change in which they did respond to but as soon as a question was asked about a refund Facebook messenger showed that they read the message and didn't even bother to respond. All I see is an Unprofessional, Unorganized and Fraudulent race that was put together
DO NOT SIGN UP!
They have changed the date on their website three times now. There is NO phone number to call and you can only email them, which they do not reply to. I ended up disputing the registration fee on my credit card and got my money back.....
If I could give this run negative stars, I would. It was easily the worst organized, worst attended, worst event I have ever experienced. Obstacles were broken with nails sticking out. A slide with no water that landed directly into the dry dirt. It was as if someone had created the event without ever doing a mud run EVER. Stay away for your own safety!
Avoid
Stay away from this race. This is either run by or affiliated with Ralph Avallone. Google "Ralph Avallone Military Service" to find a change.org petition that outlines most of his charity fraud (like representing himself as a charity and using collected money to travel for races). As long as Courage Challenge has any affiliation with Ralph Avallone, they are a run you should avoid.
