Fort Henry was built at the top of a hill to dominate the areas below. It was surrounded by rough terrain and natural obstacles to make assaulting the Fort a hopeless endeavor. Faced with steep hills, deep ditches, and water on three sides denying a preferred approach, no one dared to attack. That’s about to change!



On July 12 2014, Fort Henry National Historic Site of Canada will be hosting the second annual Cannonball Rush event, an outdoor run combined with challenging obstacles designed to test your strength, determination, and team spirit. Only those who overcome these challenges and cross the finish line will claim victory!
