Poorly organized
For the amount of money paid forthis event it was one of the worst I have participated in. I have done a few mud run/5k's etc...
The obstacles were poorly thought out and dangerous. They could have at least sanded the plywood before poorly nailing it together. The best obstacle was climbing the exisitng rocks towards the end.
looks to me like the organizers spent more time on their awful costumes then putting together a succedful event.
i was hoping for a great workout and something different than the typical mud run. DISSAPOINTMENT!! FAIL!!
Beach Beast "Disaster!"
What a joke! Horrible unless you like standing in lines in the hot sun. I could make better obstacles in my back yard. They were all crammed at the end of the short run. Not sure this was even a 5k. There were no signs telling us where registration was, we walked past it three times. It took us forever to find parking and we paid a shuttle to take us there and I still got towed! Waste of money! We didn't even finish the race cause the lines were just too long!
