Get ready to get FILTHY clean with 5k Foam Fest!
What in the world could possibly be more fun than running through a course chuck full of mud, foam, and obstacles? Running through it with your friends, of course! Check out our video to see how much fun you can have together! Well, you’ll need bodies. So grab your friends, neighbors, co-workers, and family members and get them registered! Your team can be as big as you want. And remember, the only way to make sure you all get to run in the same wave is to register early and together, so don’t wait! Otherwise we can’t guarantee that you’ll be flying around in foam with your friends.
If you are looking to beat a world record or run so hard that you nearly lose bowel control then you might be disappointed. The 5K Foam Fest is not a hardcore race it is a FUNCORE race. The goal is to have fun while running. We will have a race clock at the end of the race so you can internally take note how fast you ran the race but you will not be given timing chips and we encourage you to focus on the fun aspect of the race rather than the speed.
It is a festival after all!! So be sure to come early and bring your friends and family. We’ve got several activities including our foam pit, mini inflatable obstacle course, and bounce house. We even have activities for the kids at heart! Like our Skyfall (A 25’ drop onto a airbag/stunt bag)!

It was a lot of fun .l enjoyed all the events not so much the large slide at the end.At the end of the race we had to wait about 45 min for a bus to come take us back to our vechicle in the rain .They needed a lot more buses as there was a huge line up of people to be shuttled back to our vechicles.I would say that was my only really disappointment of the race
Good Foamy Fun!
Lots of fun, but the obstacles weren't being monitored and some were broken or moved out of place.
Great Team Building Event
This was my first year at this event. What a blast!! We had a team of girls from work all participate and it was a day full of fun, foam and laughter. Course was challenging enough to keep you engaged in the trails and the obstacles but easy enough that everyone at any fitness level could participate. We have marked this on our calendars to participate again in 2017!
Need more variation
I have participated in both the 2015 and 2016 foam fest events in red deer and found that there wasn't much variation in the obstacles between the two. If there was options for different difficulty levels at each obstacle it would keep the event fun and challenging for a wide variety of fitness levels.
Had a great time and the weather was perfect
Amazing event!! Weather was chilly, but the event warmed you up! Completed the event for the first time with my girlfriends and my daughter and had a ton of laughs! Memories forever! Definitely doing this one again!
5k Foam Fest Sun Peaks
I participated in my first 5K Foam Fest this past year. One word to describe it was Fantastic. The excitement from the registration line, to the starting line, throughout the many (21) obstacles and then finishing it off at the finish line was great. I felt welcomed and supported every step of the way. Thanks for the great experience and I'm ready for 2017

Was great for my first experience. The only lyrics down side with a later morning start time was that there was not much foam left on some of the obstacles that would of made it easier to slide across

Foam fest 2015 was such an awesome experience. I went with my personal trainer and it was such a great time. It was great to do the obstacles and run the 5k. It was a goal I was working towards and finished it and that made me feel awesome. I was unable to go in 2016 but I am so excited to do this again in 2017 :)
