Get ready to get FILTHY clean with 5k Foam Fest!
What in the world could possibly be more fun than running through a course chuck full of mud, foam, and obstacles? Running through it with your friends, of course! Check out our video to see how much fun you can have together! Well, you’ll need bodies. So grab your friends, neighbors, co-workers, and family members and get them registered! Your team can be as big as you want. And remember, the only way to make sure you all get to run in the same wave is to register early and together, so don’t wait! Otherwise we can’t guarantee that you’ll be flying around in foam with your friends.
If you are looking to beat a world record or run so hard that you nearly lose bowel control then you might be disappointed. The 5K Foam Fest is not a hardcore race it is a FUNCORE race. The goal is to have fun while running. We will have a race clock at the end of the race so you can internally take note how fast you ran the race but you will not be given timing chips and we encourage you to focus on the fun aspect of the race rather than the speed.
It is a festival after all!! So be sure to come early and bring your friends and family. We’ve got several activities including our foam pit, mini inflatable obstacle course, and bounce house. We even have activities for the kids at heart! Like our Skyfall (A 25’ drop onto a airbag/stunt bag)!

Great Event - 1st Timers
Myself, my best friend and my husband did this event together. It was all of our first time and we LOVED it. Was so much fun from beginning to end. Everyone was friendly and helpful and it was very well organized. Only issue we saw was some of the water obstacles didn't have enough water to complete properly(ie: could of the superman slides). But there were so many obstacles that it didn't seem to matter much. We have plans to do it for sure again in 2017, same place but with 6 of us this round...so much fun people wanted to join in for the next one.
We did this as a family team in Saskatoon for the last two years, we get a hotel and make a weekend out of it. We have had so much fun and are registered to participate for the third year. It is great family fun from my 10 year old nephews to my 55 year old mother and aunt.
Had an absolute blast. Did it with my daughter and a friend and her 2 boys along with another friend and her son. This was my 2nd year and was by far better then the previous year. It's a great way to getting out and get some exercise and have fun doing it at the same time. Looking forward to next year's event!

I tried the wipe out run in Toronto a couple months before hand and honestly it was a let down and was more expensive then the foam fest. I was expecting the wipe out run to be more like this one!!! So much fun!!! There were some line ups for some stunts which could have be resolved with two lanes but other then that it was lots of fun.
First Timer
Dispute the weather, my friends and I had a fantastic time. The race was long, foamy and fun. I've never done an obstacle race before so this put forth a great first impression. Can't wait for next year! I'll be bringing my daughter next time.
Second time participating in event. Would have liked to experience new obstacles. Only two changes from previous year. The running seemed to be longer 2016 as well.

I did this event with my daughter, it was the best time. Not only did you get the thrill of doing something different but it is a great bonding experience for the family. I had never done anything like this in the past so it was important for me to do this with my daughter. We have never laughed so hard. I can't say enough nice things about it. Well organized, great staff helping you and guiding you along the way all the while encouraging you on. I have already signed up for 2017 but next year I'm making my youngest daughter and my husband so it with us.
So much fun!!
This was my second year doing the 5k Foam Fest and I loved every minute of it. The run was well organized and the obstacles well spaced and varied. The staff at each obstacle were great, giving everyone high fives and cheering everyone on. I had so much fun, I already registered for 2017! The only thing I would improve on would be the change tents. Personally, I'd like to see a more private changing area as opposed to one big, communal change tent for each gender.
If you're wondering if you should try this event in 2017, all I can say is go for it. It doesn't matter what kind of shape you're in. It's not a race, so you can take as much time as need to complete the course. The obstacles are challenging but not "insane" and they aren't mandatory. If you feel you really can't complete an obstacle, you can always skip it. Remember, the whole idea is to have fun!
It was awesome! It was my second time and my first obstacle race. I will be doing it yearly. My friend and I spoke after that the rush would be assume to bottle up and hope that we keep doing it every year. Love love how much fun it is!
