Warrior Dash Warrior Dash is the world's largest running series and is held on challenging and rugged terrains across the world. Participants bound over fire, trudge through mud and scale over 12 obstacles during this fierce 5K. From couch potatoes to novice runners to extreme athletes, Warrior Dash truly is an event for all athletic abilities. The inspiration behind Warrior Dash was to create the most bad-ass day possible. It is a day where participants can challenge themselves, be active and get muddy. Participants tackle the course and then celebrate their accomplishments with beer, food and live music. Warrior Dash is an alternative to the classic 5K and provides an incomparable experience for participants and spectators. The unique combination of athleticism, live music, turkey legs and beer keeps Warriors coming back for more. Warrior Dash is partnered with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The St. Jude Warriors program encourages Warrior Dash racers to fundraise for St. Jude. With the help of 2012 participants Warrior Dash has raised over 2 million dollars for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Red Frog Events prides itself on creating the Active Entertainment Industry, which is a combination of fitness, entertainment and event management. As a leader in the industry, we strive to make each Warrior Dash more unique and challenging than the last. Innovation is continuously brewing back at Red Frog Events office where the whole team is dreaming up new obstacles and twists for Warrior Dash. In the end, we are in the business of having fun!

Individuals qualify at their local Warrior Dash race in a competitive wave. Price increase occurs two weeks after the race at which an individual qualifies.

Course Description:

The Warrior Dash World Championship is a competition for worldwide bragging rights and a hefty chunk of cash. It will take place across five kilometers of some of the most rugged terrain in the country at our Warrior Dash NorCal location and will be rife with 12 obstacles on a Warrior Dash course. You must qualify for the World Championship by placing in the top-25 male or female category in any 2014 Warrior Dash.

There will be race officials at each obstacle and along the course monitoring the competition.

Aid Stations:

During the race, there will be two water stations throughout the race course.
Water and bananas will be available after you cross the finish line.

Awards:

Cash prize breakdown is as follows. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top five men and women:

First Place: $30,000
Second Place: $10,000
Third Place: $5,000
Fourth Place: $3,000
Fifth Place: $2,000

Spectators:

We know our Warriors love having fellow Warriors with them on race day, but also other comrades to watch them on the battleground and cheer after. Spectators are welcome to join the festival, probably get a big mud hug and watch the course and some obstacles in the spectator viewing area all at no cost. The more the merrier to rock on during a full day of bad-assery.

Parking:

Parking will be available for $10 per car space on race day. Please have cash ready. Car-pooling is highly encouraged.

Other:

The top three male and female finishers from any 2014 Warrior Dash will receive a free entry into the Warrior Dash World Championship.

If you live in the NorCal area and have never run a Warrior Dash before, but would like to run in the World Championship, you must have an official time from a previous obstacle course race demonstrating your ability to run a seven-minute mile pace or faster.

NorCal is our last race of the 2014 season, so the championship will encompass all qualifiers. In addition, NorCal is one of our hilliest and toughest races terrain-wise. If you want your chunk of the cash, you have to earn it
