Course Description:
Mud Hero Winnipeg is located at Grand Beach Entertainment Centre – only 50 minutes north of the city just outside of Grand Beach, Manitoba's famous playground. With amazing Boreal forests, swamps, hills and on-site camping, Mud Hero Winnipeg offers a weekend you won’t soon forget. Canada's favourite obstacle series will make a giant splash in Winnipeg, so Manitoba, get ready to dive in.
The 6 km course offers plenty of man-made and natural challenges including swamps, forests, steep hills, ponds and embankments. Our 16 plus obstacles include our Superhero Cargo Climb, Mud Slide, Hero Walls, Firehall Wall Slide, Demolition Derby, Light and Tunnels End, Balance Beam, Dirtilicious Mud Crawl and our brand new Kong!
Aid Stations:
2 water stations on course, 1 at the finish line with water, Muscle Milk will also be provided at the end
We have a minimum of 8 first aiders at each Mud Hero event.
Prizes:
Prizes for top charity earners.
Spectators:
Free !Mud Hero encourages spectators by providing easy, no-charge access and great vistas to view the course.
Parking:
$10 per car - car pooling recommended
Post Party:
DJs, Great Food, Beer and Entertainment.
Our post party is right in the middle of the action so you can watch participants finish.
Other:
We give money to local cancer charities. The minimum age to participate is 15. You don't have to know how to swim to participate in Mud Hero events.
Team:
Welcome to race as a team, sign up with your team name and have it listed. However, everyone is timed individually. There is a $5 discount for teams of 10 or more.
