Course Description:
The Wilson Swamp Stomp is an obstacle run.
There will be approximately 14 obstacles on the 5K course and another 8 on the 8K course.
This event is not a mud run in the sense that we aren’t digging pits and filling them with water for “intentional” mud experiences. However, we will have belly crawls in the grass and dirt.
We will have a wet tunnel crawl. There is a significant portion of the 5K and 8K that runs through some swampy terrain.
There is a creek crossing on the 8K course.
We designed the course to take advantage of the natural obstacles and park facilities for the “mud” aspect.
Aid Stations:
3 aid stations and there will be EMS on site.
Awards:
No ceremony but awards are to top three individual and teams by gender.
Spectators:
No spectator fee!
Parking:
No parking fee!
Other:
All of the proceeds go to Hope Station, Wilson's homeless shelter and food pantry.
Team:
Teams are encouraged!
