Race Start Time:
First heat is at 8:30 am. Last heat is at 1:00 pm. Heats go off every 10 minutes. 60 to 75 people per heat. There is no elite heat.
Short 1/2 mile course for kids age 4 to 8 is available from 11 to 11:40 am. 1 mile course for kids age 9 to 12 is available from 10:00am to 12:00 pm.

Course Description:
Our course travels through Lucy Park and the Wee-Chi-Tah trail. There are approximately 18 obstacles. The terrain varies and you will have a couple of creek crossings. It is not very hilly but there are a lot of things to climb your way over.
T.H.O.R. represents everything that is right with the world today - mud, guts and everybody nuts. Trust us... someone nuts is going to be running with or near you. Come experience the insanity and the awesome adrenaline rush.
Aid Stations:
There will be one aid station on the course with water and fruit. There are two medical stations, one on the course with paramedics and one at the start/finish line with nursing staff.
Awards:
Event is non-timed.
Prizes:
We give awards for largest group, best team name, and best costume.
Spectators:
Spectators are free and highly encouraged. They can roam free however not all obstacles are accessible to spectators. Spectators have access to post-party but will have to pay for their food and beverages. Beer prices are kept very reasonable unlike other festivals... we want people to stay and have a good time!
Parking:
Parking is free. However, parking is somewhat limited inside of the park. We provide shuttles throughout the park to the Start/Finish Line Village.
Post Party:
You can head thru THOR Village to the start/finish line area. Feel free to check out the area and scope out the vendor booths along the way
Other:
Giving makes the heart grow! Proceeds from THOR 2019 will benefit Wichita Falls Streams & Valleys and the Leadership Wichita Falls program, two programs us THORians strongly believe in.
Team:
We do have teams for our race but they are not required. You can create your team when you register and share your team information with friends and family. There is a team discount if you sign up more than 4 people at the same time.
