Course Description:

8K - Easy for beginners, 14 obstacles.
15K - A bit more challenging, 29 obstacles.
21K - For the strong tough guys. 21km will follow a route over Paarl Rock and among the most spectacular scenery the Western Cape has to offer. 33 obstacles. This is a fun obstacle event. Only over and under.

Aid Stations:

Paramedics will be placed along all route distances. Ample water points. Route marshals along all route distances. Safety officers at all obstacles

Awards:

Award Ceremony at 16:00. 21k Male and Female winners will win the main prize of going to Germany to represent South Africa in the International Fisherman's Friend event. Prizes will be given to winners in each distance category.

Prize for biggest Corporate Team
Prize for best dressed team or individual
Prize for best dressed couple
Everybody is a Hero

Spectators:

Spectators are free. Race can be viewed all along the route and buses will transport spectators to designated viewpoints as well.

Parking:

Ample parking will be available at the venue and throughout town.

Post Party:

There will be an awesome Post-Party. We will have an ACDC tribute band, Depeche Mode tribute band and our main act will be Jack Parow. Entry to this concert is included in the price for runners. Non participants have to pay R100.00 at the gate. Kids under 7 years can enter for free.

Other:

We will feed +- 4000 underprivileged people from the local community in partnership with Magda's Soup Kitchen on the Sunday after the event in the Faure Stadium. All participants are encouraged to bring along foodstuffs such as rice, potatoes or meat to contribute to this cause.
