Course Description:
Don’t miss the mud, mystery obstacles, mud, music, mud and MORE MUD! It all happens at the scenic trails of Unity Village in Lee’s Summit, MO. Serene nature trail, 6 obstacles, one steep hill, water slide, mud pit. The DIRTY DUO will be on mostly flat, paved and gravel trails. The course is set up in a way in which anyone will be able to finish the race.
Aid Stations:
First aid station! Fresh fruit and water booth plus water stations throughout course.
Prizes:
Best Costume Duo! Before the race begins, prizes will be awarded to the BEST COSTUME DUO. The costume contest will be judged by a separate panel of judges so grab a partner and get creative! Prizes will also be awarded to the top male and female finishers of the race.
Spectators:
Feel free to observe the race!
Parking:
No cost for parking. Race day parking will be indicated with signage and humans waving their arms about.

Originally founded in 1949 as the Harry S. Truman Children’s Neurological Center, TNC Community provides support and care to adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities in homes like mine and yours nestled into neighborhoods across the Kansas City Metro. Our mission is to advocate for interdependent living, education, and community inclusion through competent, caring support. Our supportive services can be summed up in three words: HOME, FAMILY and COMMUNITY. ALL proceeds from the Dirty Duo will be used to continue to provide quality care and enhance our community integration programming.
The Dirty Duo is for ages 11 and up. There will be plenty of opportunities for great before and after pics. Solo runners are fine, but groups are encouraged because isn't everything fun when there's a group?!
