Revolution Runs Let the flames be your guide as you are led through 10k of punishing terrain and some of natures toughest obstacles until you reach your final destination and the Ultimate BURN. The moment you arrive you will be part of the Revolution Runs experience. You will be guided through your warm up with the help of some motivating beats from our resident DJ. As you make your way around the testing course you’ll hear the energy of the finish line.

After you’ve worked up a sweat, cool off at the post race party! The festivities will offer music, food and awards for the overall male and female winners in each category.

Course Description:

The rural terrain takes in woodland, trees, lakes and streams. One of the many features of the challenging course is a natural bombhole. Our course will start running alongside the vineyards then will return back on itself so the starting participants can be encouraged and jeered on by their fellow contestants to set them on their way. With a staggered start, the Beginners category set off first followed by the Intermediate and then the Advanced categories. It’s then a race to the finish to be met by a euphoric atmosphere as you reach the end of your journey. Featuring the ‘BIG 4!’

• The Pit – scale the walls of an explosive bomb hole, you’ll have to dig deep to get out
• The Slide – How will you handle it – feet first, head first – it’s up to you?
• The Deep – A short swim across to safety or you’ll have to run around, will you take the plunge?
• The Trench – wade through deep muddy waters, make sure to keep your knees up

• Swamp infested island swim/crossing
• Plunge pool ‘Pauly Bath’ with rope crossing
• Swamp infested Mud Baths
• Downhill water slide
• Woods run with natural obstacles
• Bomb Hole Jump
• Uphill water run/scramble/crawl
• Cross country field run
• Mud pool crossing
• Slime infested tyre wall climb and cross
• Weir tunnel crawl
• Cargo net crawl
• Trout lake swim

Aid Stations:

Water station at 5K point.
Paramedics and lifeguards on standby.
Run Masseurs located on each obstacle.

Awards:

Awards for first Male and female in both Senior and Junior race.

Spectators:

Spectators are free.
Spectators can roam most of the course. Spectators also get into post race party.

Parking:

£5 per car.
Car park located 50 meters from race venue.

Post Party:

DJ, Bar and on site vendors
Post race bonfire and fireworks!
