Course Description:
The first North American Obstacle Course Racing Championships will be held in Stratton, Vermont August 10-12
Team Racing at the NorAm OCR Championsips focuses on the concept of specialization within Obstacle Course Racing. Teams consist of three athletes, racing in relay format, on a course specially designed course in four separate legs – each one targeting a key discipline of OCR: speed, strength, technique, and teamwork. Athletes are encouraged to strategically devise teams based on these key disciplines. For example, the ideal team may consist of a running specialist for the running leg, a stronger athlete for the strength based obstacles leg, and an obstacle specialist for the technical obstacle leg.
Aid Stations:
Multiple aid stations will be set up throughout the courses, water and food will be available at the finish line area. Athletes are encouraged to bring their own hydration and nutrition as needed, and are responsible for placing all trash in appropriate receptacles at the start and finish area. No littering will be permitted, violators may be subject to disqualification or removal from the grounds.

Pro Division top 3 men and women will receive a cash prize at the awards ceremony for both the 3k and 15k Championships, Open Division athletes will receive recognition for top 3 male/female placement in each age group.
