Elite Heat starts the event at 8:00 a.m. for Men and 8:15 a.m. for Women (200 per heat)
Open Heat 8:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. - 150 runners start every 15 minutes.

Course Description:
An expedited 3-4 Mile, 15+ obstacle course that will make you question your love for hills. This course is all ski hill... and a wee bit more (haha!).
The Abominable Snow Race features the challenge of a grueling 3-5 mile winter course with over 20 winter themed military style obstacles, making it the premiere race to start off your obstacle racing season. We offer you the most variety of obstacles and extreme conditions. From the disorienting Yeti's Lair, to the challenge of the mysterious Icicle Psychosis, to the final obstacle of wind and snow bombarding you as you run through our simulated Blizzard, You will find no other race that offers these challenges.
Aid Stations:
4 Water Stations, 1 every 2 miles and at Finish.
Paramedics on standby.
Ski Team will be scattered on course and First Aid at Command Center.
Fruit at finish.
Spectators:
Spectators are free!
Parking:
$10 parking on site. Overflow parking 1/2 mile away with free shuttle buses for competitors and spectators.
Post Party:
Before and After the race hangout in Base Camp, with sponsors, vendors, hot food, Craft Beer, Music, competitions, awards, fire pits, and Yeti’s. Saturday night after party is hosted by ASR in the ski lodge, next to ASR Base Camp. Indoor fire pit, bar, games, live music, food and more. Onsite lodging is $99 on Friday and Saturday night.
