Course Description:
Hardcore Mudd Run is proud to present the Northeast HMR Trifecta at Tussey Mountain in State College, PA. Normally HMR features one of three courses at an event, the HMR Sprint, the HMR Ultra, and the HMR Extreme. But, on September 10 and 11, 2016, Hardcore Mudd Run will feature all three courses for a complete mud run experience. Now everyone can find the size and difficulty they want at the same event.
For those wanting to explore the mud run phenomenon or just have a fun run with friends, the HMR Sprint is for you. If you are ready to crank up the intensity, choose the HMR Ultra or HMR Extreme depending on your experience. No matter which you choose, each course will challenge you and your team like no other. The Sprint has 11 obstacles. The Ultra adds 10 more for 21 obstacles and the Extreme finishes with 7 more obstacles for a total of 28.
Aid Stations:
At least 3 aid stations, plus water and snacks at finish.
Emergency teams will be on site.
Awards:
Cash prizes for 1st - 3rd times men and women for Elite Sprint, Elite Ultra, Elite Extreme.
Spectators:
$10 spectator on line, $20 on event day.
Spectators can roam entire course. Please be mindful of runners and do not hinder them. Spectators are not permitted to attempt any obstacles.
Parking:
Parking is $10. (cash) Would recommend carpools. Onsite parking but if off site is needed, shuttles will be provided.
Post Party:
Our post parties from the past included live musicians/DJ. Food and vendors.
Other:
Minimum age is 15 when accompanied with an adult.
Team:
Teams are encouraged. You will need help. Teams get a discount. Largest team receives award (medal). No limit to team size. Run as a team but don't forget to help others along the way
