The 5k and 10k courses are littered with all kinds of obstacles, hills, mud and water, but most importantly, are full of over 40 of the Major's finest troops, there to help you through the obstacles, but maybe challenge you to a few too!

The Major Series is all about teamwork - it's not just a run. Determination and the camaraderie of your fellow countrymen will help you through. Believe it or not, you will take part in the entire challenge with a huge grin on your face! Come along ready to take on a big challenge but most importantly to have a laugh, meet some new people, and maybe even get your own back on the Major!

Course Description:

Cardross Estate, less than an hour’s drive from Edinburgh and Glasgow, has a huge 4000 acre expanse for the Major and his troops to create one of his best courses yet. As your legs run across muddy trenches, through cold-water lakes and wild terrain, your imagination will also run wild as you are immersed in each amazing obstacle zone. Rest assured, the Major’s hand-picked, 40-strong platoon of elite troops will be lining the course to support and guide you with a smile, yells of encouragement, and a helping hand along the way.

Spectators:

Spectators are welcome and free of charge.

Parking:

There is a car park at the venue that is provided free of charge.

Other:

All entries are non-refundable as we allocate your costs directly to the event immediately after you sign up.
However, we do allow you to transfer your race entry to another person up to 7 days prior to the event day, whereby a £5 transfer fee will apply.
Transfers will not be permitted beyond this date. It is not possible to transfer to a future event as all the costs involved with your place have already been allocated to this specific event.
