Course Description:
Set in the heart of Washington, Missouri’s beautiful City Park, this 5 mile course includes up to 15 challenging obstacles.
If you cannot complete an obstacle please go around it. If you are not able to swim please do not participate in any of our water obstacles.
Remember to have fun and think safely.
There will be a volunteer at each obstacle if you have any questions.
Aid Stations:
There will be a first aid tent available with volunteers at every obstacle. Water stations will be on the course and a snack will be provided at the end.
Awards:
Awards for best team name and best dressed.
Spectators:
Spectators are encouraged to come and cheer on their favorite mudders.
Spectators must submit a completed Registration and Release form and will pay just $10. This allows access to most of the course for cheering and photos.
Spectators are also invited to the after party for no additional charge.
To ensure Wash Mo Mudders have clear access to all obstacles and the entire course, spectators may not set up tents, chairs, umbrellas or personal items on the course.
Parking:
There will be limited parking available the day of the race. Please try to carpool if possible.
Parking will be $5 per vehicle.
Post Party:
All Wash MO Mudder participants and spectators are invited to our after party.
Live music from Burnt Whiskey starts at noon.
Food and drink will be available for purchase.
Stay for the music, share course challenge stories and have fun with friends.
Other:
Race packets and materials will be available for pick-up on event day beginning at 7:30 a.m. Each participant must check-in with photo i.D. A signed waiver must be received and verified on the day of the race. Your race packet will include your race bib, pins and sponsor giveaways. Race bibs may not be picked up by anyone but the participant for liability and safety purposes.
There will be a bag drop at the registration table at the Wash MO Mudder. While we cannot be responsible for lost or stolen items, we will have security in our bag drop at all times to eliminate stolen property as much as possible. We will tag your bag with your bib number, and you can use your bib to reclaim your bag at pick-up.
Bring on Race Day normal running shoes- they will get dirty and you can donate them after the run to the Soleawater project, lightweight clothing that dries quickly works best… plus it’s August… it will be HOT! Remember a change of clothes for after the party! Some competitors prefer gloves for rope and wall climbing.
You MUST bring a photo ID. You will not be able to run the event without it. This photo ID should contain a picture and your name on it to be a valid identification at Wash MO Mudder.
Please plan to arrive at least one hour before your heat begins to park, pick up packet and stretch!
Leave at Home Pets, Bikes, Glass Bottles, Outside Alcoholic Beverages, Tents, Umbrellas.
There will be a designated area to hose off after the run.
The race will not be timed as it focuses more on working as a team, finishing the race and having fun. Feel free to bring a stop watch or device to time yourself.
Youth Mud Maze Challenge: Children ages 5-14 and over 42 inches tall may participate in the Youth Mud Maze Challenge for only $10. Participants will receive a goodie bag after completing the course. Participant shirts will be available for purchase for $10. They can sign up the day of the race with a parent or guardian, pre-register at the Y (click for printable form), or online
