Course Description:
This 5K extreme run demands endurance to trek through hill and valleys, splash through winding streams, courage to overcome uncompromising obstacles and a complete lack of shame to sludge through dirt and mud all in the name of a good cause.
Designed by ex-military professionals and hardcore runners, the race challenges you and tests your resilience, strength, stamina, camaraderie, mental toughness and your ability to have fun in the face of hardship and what feels like insurmountable obstacles.
Participants can expect between 13 and 20 obstacles of varying degrees of difficulty including the Mud Bog, Bitchin' Rope Cross and Ice Whine Bath.
Aid Stations:
There will be numerous volunteer paramedics and EMS personnel onsite during the entire event. If you get injured or need medical assistance, we’ll have back-up.
Spectators:
Spectators are free.
Parking:
Onsite parking is limited and typically reserved for participants. Carpooling is always encouraged. Additional free parking is available close by.
Post Party:
Live bands, food, wine, beer, Bounce Castle, face painting, massages and other interactive activities still being developed.
Other:
The event supports the Canadian Cancer Society's local Wheels of Hope transportation program that helps cancer patients get to their life-saving cancer treatment appointments. Niagara's volunteer drivers logged over 1 million kms. last year, helping more than 900 local cancer patients.
Team:
Participants are welcome to register solo or part of a team. There are no discounts offered for teams at this time.
