Course Description:
The Gladiator events are designed around an intense medium-distance, 5-7 mile course. Each course incorporates 25+ extreme obstacles with the most challenging being the dramatic finale in The Coliseum. The Gladiator courses are designed to punish and please, while testing agility, endurance, mental resolve, and solidarity. You’ll not walk away unscathed.

Spectators:
$10. Being a Spectator at The Gladiator
events means that you will get a front row seat to see one of the most
grueling, most epic, most fun-filled events ever held! You’ll see your
friends, family, and even complete strangers run, tumble, crawl, climb,
leap, and beg for mercy! You’ll want to be near The Coliseum for the
start and finish, as it is the ultimate test of who can call themselves
Gladiators. Cheer the Gladiators on as they attempt to finish in The
Coliseum and feel free to throw a little mud.
Throughout the
event day, there will be various vendors setup around The Coliseum with
food, drinks, gear, and other cool swag. Spectators will also be able to
participate in various contests, challenges, and fun events throughout
the day.
Children are welcome. All The Gladiator events are
family friendly and no alcohol or drugs will be tolerated. Kids will get
to participate in small obstacles, competitions, and events in the
event field. Whether it’s wall climbs, pull-ups, pushups, sprints,
World’s Fastest Baby Crawl, standing long jump, slip and slide, etc.
your child(ren) will be entertained and loving it!
Our goal is
to provide the most awesome atmosphere and event possible for runners,
spectators, and children and to keep you coming back for more!
Post Party:
Hang out with your fellow Gladiators and participate in various contests and festivities…or just nurse your wounds and talk about what parts of the course kicked your tail! Food and drinks will be available along with other vendor offerings and Gladiator Gear.
Other:
GoPro HDHero2 Cameras are available for rental for this event at a cost of only $30.00. As the most awesome adventure camera on the planet, your HDHero2 will provide you with a first person view of your entire race! Upon completion, you’ll just turn in your HDHero2 for quick download and transfer to high def. disc and be on your way with a sweet memento of your adventure. If you would like one of these, you’ll have to register for it in advance. These are first come, first serve and WILL need to be reserved before event day!
A guiding principle of The Gladiator is
that strength is only truly shown through compassion. Here at The
Gladiator, we believe in the words of Luke 12:34: “For where your
treasure is, there your heart will be also”. In line with this tenet,
The Gladiator provides each participant access to a choice of children’s
charities to support and diverts part of each registration directly to
charities
Team:
The Gladiator is extreme. It is also one
of the most fun but challenging things you’ll ever do. Running with some
friends around you throughout the course will help out on the BIG
walls, hill climbs, and in the one and only Coliseum. Start building
your team today to have an awesome day, help one another complete
something epic, and raise funds for charity.
Don’t forget to
have people there to cheer you and your fellow runners on and to see you
through the challenge on event day. The Gladiator aims to please anyone
who comes to one of our events, runner, spectator, or volunteer. There
will be games and activities as well as vendors available before,
during, and after the run to ensure that everyone has a great day.
