Race Start Time:
Starts at 8:30am
Individuals, then teams (in groups of 20 runners) will begin in 1 minute staggered starts in the parking lot between PJ High School and Middle School.
Then kids aged 10-13, will begin separately and run a modified and shorter course.

Course Description:
Run, jog, walk or crawl through our 1.25 mile course, over the fields, paths, trails and track of the Catholic Academy campus. Negotiate obstacles, exercise stations (and some mud!), along the fun and challenging route.
Course: cross parking lot then run up the ramp to the NW corner of the football field; traverse the football field, to the baseball field, to the upper field track and then to the auxiliary (dirt) field, completing exercise stations, mud and obstacles along the way, then onto the upper parking lot and to the finish line at the SW edge of PJ High School.
Modified course for kids 10-13 yrs old.
Aid Stations:
Water at the finish line.

Our Rugged Run award categories are:
Individuals (top 2 males and top 2 females in each age group receive medals):
Middle School: 10-13 years
High School: 14-18 years
Adult: 19-50 years
Older adult: 50+ year
Teams (top 2 teams in each age group receive medals)
High School: 14-18
Adults: 19-50
Prizes:
Team Spirit (top 1 team judged on attitude, costumes/attire, and team name)
Spectators:
Spectators are free.
Parking:
Parking is at the Reverend Brown Elementary School.
Post Party:
Join the post-race celebration for music, food and beverages, vendors and awarding of medals.
Other:
This event will raise funds for Pope John High School's 60+ activities, clubs, the Pope John Players and athletic teams.
Team:
Teams up to 8 people per team.
