Course Description:
What better way is there to add some colour to your life than joining us for Active Warrior – Rainbow Rampage. This family orientated event takes place in the beautiful setting of the Southampton Outdoor Sports Centre. It’s not a race, it’s a rampage around at your pace on a 3km course filled with obstacles and explosions of colour dye, allowing you to be a part of a festival of fun as one of hundreds of Warriors taking part. It is the perfect way for you and your family to get active.
The obstacles will include mini walls, a rainbow body slide, colour pools and even a foamy gauntlet plus more challenges which will be announced nearer the event. As a family event, the course can be tackled by children aged 4 upwards (4-7 year olds must be assisted around by a parent or guardian) and under 16s require parental consent. Some of the obstacles will be separated so young recruits can take on appropriately sized challenges and if you really like distance, then book an early wave and run it twice, although you only get one medal.
Spectators:
Free spectators! There are loads of great spectator spots around the route so bring the whole family.
Parking:
Parking for spectators cost £5 per car. Parking for competitors is included with registration.
Post Party:
The festival village will be a buzz with activity including live entertainment, food, bouncy castles and include the bag drop area. The start and finish arena will include the most flamboyant warm up party you’ve ever been to
Other:
Family Wave registration requieres ages 4 and over and the members should be minimun 2 and maximun 5. All the waves will have a 15-minutes warm up before leaving the start line. This race has a 2,500 maximum number of participants.
