Course Description:
Hero!Run: More than 30 obstacles lie between you and the finish, we are also renewing the course so expect some unique new obstacles. You can choose between a 6 or 10 kilometer course of which more than 90% is unpaved. The obstacles themselves will contain different levels of difficulty, so you can estimate how difficult you are for yourself. We ensure that it will be challenging and achievable for everyone at the same time.
Hero!Competition: The trail is 10 kilometers long of which more than 90% is unpaved. The obstacles themselves will have different levels of difficulty, but during Hero! Competition it is mandatory to take the obstacles in the most difficult (and correct) way.
Hero!Family: More than 15 obstacles lie between you and the finish, we are also renewing the course so expect some unique new obstacles. Strength, perseverance and sufficient courage will be needed to bring your path to a successful conclusion. The trail is 2.5 or 4 kilometers long of which more than 90% is unpaved. The obstacles themselves will have different levels of difficulty, so you can decide for yourself which challenge you can handle. We ensure that it will be challenging and achievable for everyone at the same time.
Hero!Sprint: The principle is simple, namely no running pieces between the various obstacles. The course will only be 100 m short, but no less challenging. Obstacles will be placed immediately after each other to actually build 1 long obstacle in this way.
Aid Stations:
To provide you with the necessary energy there is a supply point halfway through the course where you can nibble or drink something, also at the finish you will be able to recharge the batteries thanks to the finish supply.
Prizes:
PRIZE MONEY! Yes, you read that right, finish at the top of the ranking of your age category or the general classification and we reward you in cash. With every new registration for Hero! Competition an amount will be added to the prize pool on top of the starting amount. The more challenging, the greater the reward will be.
Spectators:
When you've just conquered a tsunami, there is nothing like a team of fans!
Parking:
Parking is only possible on the large parking lot at the main entrance through the Vossekotstraat.
Post Party:
Like every year, we provide the catering ourselves, a hamburger or a delicious bbq, as long as it tastes! You can already order the bbqs in advance, so you can be sure that there is still enough for you.
